Recipe 1 (Chocolate bottom layer)


  • 2 tbsp of maple syrup
  • 3 tbsp of unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 tbsp of vanilla extract
  • 2.5 tbsp of coconut oil, melted
  • 1/3 cup of all-natural creamy peanut butter
  • For peanut butter top layer
  • Himalayan sea salt
  • 2 tbsp of maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp of vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp of coconut oil, melted
  • 1/3 cup of all-natural creamy peanut butter


  1. Line your muffin tin with twelve muffin liners and spray with your coconut oil. Set aside.
  2. Get a medium-sized bowl and stir in all the bottom chocolate layer ingredients until smooth. Set aside.
  3. In another medium-sized bowl mix all the peanut butter top layer ingredients until it becomes smooth. Set aside.
  4. Scoop 1/2 tbs of the mixture for the chocolate layer in all twelve muffin cups. pick up and shake the muffin tin to evenly set the layer.
  5. Do the same procedure for the top layer of peanut butter. Plop around 1/2 tbs of the mixture on the chocolate bottom layer. Pick up and shake the muffin tins you did earlier.
  6. Sprinkle the Himalayan sea salt over each cup.
  7. Freeze all muffin tin for thirty minutes until they become firm. Enjoy

Recipe 2


  • 160 gms of roughly chopped dark chocolate
  • 3 tbsp of melted unrefined divided coconut oil
  • 3/4 cup of organic creamy peanut butter


  1. Line your muffin tin with cupcake liners. Set aside
  2. With a double boiler melt two tbsp of your dark chopped chocolate or coconut oil until the texture is completely melted and smooth.
  3. Set the chocolate aside and keep it warm while mixing with peanut butter.
  4. Mix the leftover coconut oil and peanut butter very well. You want it to be runny and nice. An alternative step will be to warm up coconut oil and peanut butter gently.
  5. Pour a tbsp of the chocolate base in your lined tins. Add them to your freezer and leave for five minutes to set.
  6. Remove from the freezer and add one or two tbsp of peanut butter in the cup’s center.
  7. Return the peanut butter cups to the freezer and leave for about five minutes.
  8. Scoop leftover melted chocolate to top your cup of peanut butter. Use one or two tablespoons.
  9. Place the peanut butter cups in your freezer for about fifteen to twenty minutes.
  10. Remove your cups of peanut butter from the liner and store inside an airtight container.

These homemade peanut butter can be even more awesome than the commercially produced ones if you get the steps right. They are not only easy to make but can serve as a good brunch or appetizer for any gathering. How To Make Organic Peanut Butter Cups


  • Storage: It is better to transfer frozen peanut cups from muffin tin to a gallon-sized bag and store them in your freezer. They could last you for as long as three months or more.
  • Coconut oil: For this recipe, coconut oil is the most preferred, especially if you are a healthy eater. The second best will be to use very oily peanut butter. This will require you to use more oil than the actual butter.
  • Freezer: From the recipe, you might have noticed that homemade peanut butter should be stored in freezers. The reason for this is that the oil is easily melted and the cups will stay put in a freezer for about three months.
  • Peanut butter: All natural peanut butter is recommended in most recipes. There are some really good brands of peanut butter that you can use later.
